CANAL STREET MARKET MODULAR MERCHANDISING

Client
CANAL STREET MARKET

Overview

Our studio led the original concept design for the launch of Canal Street Market in New York City. We developed a flexible interior framework that could support rotating food, retail, and maker tenants while maintaining a cohesive visual identity for the overall market. The design emphasized modular stalls, clear circulation, and a material language that respected the neighborhood while feeling contemporary and curated.

How this project refined our practice

This project deepened our approach to designing multi-tenant environments that balance individual expression with collective identity. It reinforced methods for creating modular systems that allow diverse vendors to coexist while contributing to a unified, curated experience.
