VUSE EPOD ACCESSORIES

Client
BAT CANADA

Overview

The project explored a family of Vuse ePod accessories for BAT Canada, ranging from phone-mounted grips and wearable lanyard clips to compact travel and device cases. Designed as an ecosystem rather than a single object, the accessories aimed to make the ePod easier to carry, protect, and integrate into everyday routines while reinforcing the brand's geometric, color-blocked visual language. The work balanced jewelry-like detailing and fashion cues with the practical requirements of securely holding the device and pods in a variety of scenarios, from nightlife and commuting to outdoor use.

How this project refined our practice

The project deepened the team's experience designing complete accessory systems around a core device, linking ergonomics, wearability, and brand expression across multiple SKUs. It sharpened methods for translating behavioral insights into tangible attachment, carry, and storage solutions, while staying within realistic manufacturing and assembly constraints. These learnings now inform how future hardware-adjacent programs are structured, from early scenario mapping and form studies through to coordinated ranges that feel unified in use, on-body, and at point of sale.
