TRY-IT TRIVET

Overview

While collaborating with Studio Dror, our team contributed to the design of the Try-It Trivet for Italian homewares brand Alessi. The piece explores transformation and play in a functional object, folding and flexing into multiple configurations while remaining intuitive to use. The result is a domestic product that feels sculptural on the table yet performs as a practical everyday tool.

How this project refined our practice

This project sharpened our approach to designing objects that balance aesthetic expression with practical function. It reinforced methods for embedding playfulness and discovery into everyday domestic products without sacrificing usability or production feasibility.
