Overview

Our studio developed an experiential test lab for Microsoft Xbox on their Seattle campus, designed as a working playground for next-generation gaming concepts. The environment combined immersive demo bays, flexible collaboration zones, and discreet observation areas so teams could prototype, test, and refine hardware, interfaces, and content in real time. We translated Xbox brand cues into an interior language of controlled lighting, integrated LED and display surfaces, and modular fixture systems that could be rapidly reconfigured as technology and priorities evolved.

How this project refined our practice

This project deepened our approach to designing environments that serve both experiential showcase and practical R&D functions. It reinforced methods for engineering flexible infrastructure (power, data, AV) that supports rapid iteration while maintaining a polished, brand-aligned presentation for stakeholders and guests.
